Celebrate our favorite mathematical constant, pi, with a slice of pie! Bring a homemade pie for others to vote on, or stop by to just grab a slice!
Don’t be shy, come for pie! Pi Day is celebrated every year on March 14 because the date matches the first three digits of the mathematical constant (3.14). Grab a slice of pie provided by the library, or try one of the contest pies baked by community members. Vote on your favorite pie, and the winner will receive a ceramic pie dish!
To enter your pie in the Pi Day contest, drop it off at the main desk from Saturday, 3/12-Monday, 3/14 before the contest starts. Please bring the pie in a disposable dish.
