Join us for an enchanting evening with local author Jeffrey Lee as he discusses his newly released fantasy adventure novel, "Empire of Strings: The Space Between Souls".
Publisher description:
To trace a memory is to look into another's soul, but souls are a dangerous thing. Far more dangerous is the power to alter them.
Tracers are the foundation of Emilyn’s world. The ability to see into the soul of another and project what is found for all to see has become a staple of creating art in Unity Falls, but souls work in mysterious ways. One’s memory is not meant to become another’s tool. When this power is abused, heroes rise.
When the tides of the past threaten to drown the currents of the present, Emilyn is presented with a choice. What she decides will have far-reaching ramifications as her heritage weaves a web of strings she has just begun to unravel.
Jeffrey Lee, an Indianapolis native, has always loved stories such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, and the Percy Jackson series, igniting his kinship with the fantastical world and his passion for storytelling. He often found comfort in those fantastical characters, and soon developed a passion for creating his own at a very young age, though it would be a long while before any of those saw the light of the day. With encouragement from friends and family, he has found his passion leading to his debut novel Empire of Strings: The Space Between Souls, where he explores the themes of identity and self-discovery and their ever-changing nature and perception. If he isn't working or writing, Jeffrey can often be found gaming or drawing.
