Learn more about different life experiences in this drop-in event. Have a sit-down conversation with community members to learn about how they navigate life with a disability, as a minority, and more.

Everyone has a story to tell. Learn more about the people in your community through candid, one-on-one conversations with local volunteers. Drop in for a twenty-minute conversation with one of our human "books" where they will share their life experience as a person with a disability, or as a minority, or other unique circumstance. Ask questions, unpack biases, and learn how to "unjudge" someone in this safe space.

This event is held in partnership with the Human Library Organization, Hendricks County Alliance for Diversity, and Hendricks County Pride. Funding provided by the Hendricks County Community Foundation.
